Adelaide Wilson and her family are attacked by mysterious figures dressed in red. Upon closer inspection, the Wilsons realise that the intruders are exact lookalikes of them.
Composer Michael Abels featured a 30-person choir, a third of them children, in the “Anthem,” and implemented Eastern European instruments, violins, percussion, and a virtual instrument called a Propanium drum. The Propanium drum has a sound that’s both otherworldly but not electronic or like science fiction. The use of this distinctive instrument allows for the eerie atmospheric emotions it evokes to be prominent throughout the film, further keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
