"Franks Wild Years" is Tom Waits' 10th studio album, released in 1987. Inspired by a play he co-authored with his wife, Kathleen Brennan, the album expands on the track "Frank's Wild Years" from his 1983 album "Swordfishtrombones."
Divided into two acts, it weaves a story titled "un operachi romantic" through 17 songs. Waits' vocals range from gruff to Sinatra-esque, conjuring a variety of characters. The music is a mix of nightmarish, ethereal sounds, with titles like "Straight To The Top" and "Blow Wind Blow" evoking a dime-store Odyssey.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address.
