Winner of Best Picture AND Best Director at the 2018 Academy Awards, The Shape of Water is without a doubt director Guillermo Del Toro’s most successful film to date. Set upon a backdrop of 1960’s Cold War America, this modern fairytale follows a mute cleaner of a high-security laboratory in her attempt to free the mysterious Amphibian Man kept prisoner within.

The artists at Elite Creature Collectibles have partnered with Twentieth Century films to bring to life the magic of Del Toro’s film in their latest Cinemaquette. Perfectly capturing the tone of actor Doug Jones’ performance as the Amphibian Man, this 1:3 scale museum-quality maquette portrays the character within his diving chamber, longing for a connection that is just out of reach.

Measuring 35” in height, the incredible diorama has been designed and executed by Steve Wang and the ECC team based off the original assets of the film’s brilliant F/X team. Cast in high-quality resin with hand painted details and handmade glass eyes, the Amphibian Man Maquette also features LED light-up effects that will beautifully highlight the creature in his transparent chamber.

The ultimate collectable for any Guillermo del Toro fan, this incredible piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed del Toro and Doug Jones.
