Gimli, son of Glóin, was a proud and stubborn dwarf who was one of the founding members of the Fellowship of the Ring. Set apart from the majority of his kind for his friendship with Elves, he was a dauntless and honourable warrior. Gimli accomplished many feats throughout his life, playing an instrumental role in the battle of Helms Deep, the battle at Pelennor Fields, and the battle at the Black Gate.
