Celebrating over 20 years of the Lord of the Rings movies, Weta Workshop are commemorating the event with a brand new series of polystone Middle-earth statues featuring classic characters in their signature pose and clothing.
Weta Workshop's resident Gandalf master, Steven Saunders, has expertly captured Gandalf the Grey Pilgrim as he walks down the steps of Minas Tirith. A classic moment in the film, the piece features Gandalf's wizardly pose and clothing, from his billowing robe complete with life-like texturing to the iconic hat standing tall above his wisened face. Each and every element of this beautiful statue has been recreated with immaculate detailing, from the realistic skin texturing and facial sculpting to the grain along the wizard's gnarled wooden staff. Crafted with precision and care, this statue stands at approximately 12 inches tall and is made from high-quality polystone, ensuring durability and longevity. Also featured is a beautifully designed base that highlights the wizard's journey as the Grey Pilgrim.
It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, Weta Workshop treat their collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that they bring to their film work.
