Everybody's in Show-Biz showcases Ray Davies's songwriting style shift, and leans more towards a more theatrical, campy, and vaudevillian sound compared to the band's previous work.
This new element of sound allowed the album to become a staple in the band's discography. This album is home to some of the band's classic tracks such as Sitting In My Hotel, Supersonic Rocket Ship and Unreal Reality.
