Spoon - Telephono LP Vinyl Record

"If she had half a mind, well, she might not take this song quite so seriously"

Originally released in 1996, 'Telephono' is the debut studio album by Texan indie rock band Spoon.

'Telephono' served as a transition to their more distinctive, honed sound, and unlike its predecessors, Soft Effects was less noisy and brash, showcasing a more sophisticated, minimalist approach.

It drew mainly positive reviews, and in particular had many comparisons to the Pixies. Despite the comparisions, 'Telephono' showed signs of a band slipping free of its influences, mixing post-punk with a blend of pop.

'Telephono' has been recut from original masters and is available for the first time on vinyl since 1996!
