Bulbasaur, a Grass and Poison type and one of Kanto’s three starter Pokemon, was introduced in the first generation. Though being a starter Pokemon makes it scarce in the wild, it can be found in grasslands and forests throughout the Kanto region. Every year, many Bulbasaur gather together in a hidden garden to evolve into Ivysaur in a ceremony led by Venasaur.
