Pink Floyd - Hey Hey Rise Up featuring Andriy Khlyvnyuk / A Great Day For Freedom 2022 7" Split Single Vinyl Record
Written and performed to raise awareness on the Russo-Ukrainian War, UK rock band Pink Floyd teamed up with Ukrainian singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk. Having to abandon his band BoomBox and an upcoming US tour to help serve in the Ukraine Armed Forces. Khlyvnyuk was approached by Pink Floyd whilst in hospital from shrapnel wounds, to see if him and the band could collaborate on a song to raise money for the cause. That’s when this incredible 7” single was born.
Adopting an art rock sound, the two incredible tracks on this single are bound to inspire and empower the listener whilst raising awareness on the Russo-Ukrainian War.
