Pearl Jam - Dance Of The Clairvoyants 7” Single Vinyl Record
Dance of The Clairvoyants is a single by American alternative rock band Pearl Jam. It was released on January 22, 2020 and is the lead track from their 11th studio album Gigaton. This limited edition 7” single vinyl was released as aon March 27 the same year.
Seemingly spun from a new creative direction, this song is experimental and deeply collaborative gaining momentum from each of the band members individual contributions. Lead singer Eddie Vedder has written a song which is striking and relevant while vocally, he brings a touch of Bowie to his distinctive sound. A buzzy, but well rounded bass line is complemented by a striking drum pattern and creative guitar infill, making the song instrumentally, so interesting.
There is a slight influence of 80’s synth pop in this track, with a much stronger electronic undertone than any of the bands previous work. It may be an exciting evolution of an iconic rock outfit which could see them continue to build on their loyal hoards of followers.
