Legendary English metal band Motorhead formed in 1975 and on 21st May 1998 they played a thunderous show at The Docks of Hamburg as a part of their Snake Bite Love tour. Recorded at that show, this live album - the bands sixth - subsequently saw its initial release on 9th March 1998.
This live album - the bands first to feature an entire live set in full, something they hadn’t previously done due to the limitations of vinyl - is recorded loud and, in your face, brilliantly capturing Motorhead’s overwhelming live power.
The un-compromised intensity of this album's ferocious production features one of Motorhead’s finest lineups, the fast hands and feet of drummer Mikkey Dee, the pile-driving guitars of Phil Campbell and the roaring voice and powerful bass of front-man Lemmy. The group's cohesion and enthusiasm is more than evident on this album.
