Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the master of movie stop-motion animation, Ray Harryhausen, with the Mighty Joe Young, captured in this 12” Model Kit by Star Ace Toys.
Ray Harryhausen got his start as an apprentice to the great stop-motion animator Willis O’Brien and the first major film young Ray worked on was Mighty Joe Young (1949). The story of a 12-foot-tall giant gorilla who has been brought to Hollywood to help the young girl who raised him from a baby earn enough money to save her farm.
This new Star Ace statue features Joe as he fights for his life against wild lions. The soft vinyl statue is approx. 34 cm tall and is sculpted by the renowned artisans at Kaibutsuya.
The authentically designed model has been made of soft vinyl with finely sculpted details. Joe Young arrives unassembled and unpainted, allowing you to work your own magic to bring the Mighty Joe Young to life in your collection.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
