Returning 27 years after first encountering the Losers Club in Derry, Maine, Pennywise the Dancing Clown takes great pleasure in terrorising the children of the town and feeding on their fear. Paying homage to the second chapter of the film saga, this illustration is packed full of references for fans. The SS Georgie floats into the dark abyss of the sewers, the signature red balloon reflects where the horror all began, while Pennywise looms in the background surrounded by spidery limbs and webs ready to ensnare any that foolish enough to get too close.

Juan Ramos has used the full spectrum of red to great effect blending light and dark to really make every part of the image pop. The only point of difference is the yellow of Pennywise's eyes which bring the deadlightes to life.

Each You’ll Float Too Fine Art Print features an authorised, automated artist signature and an embossed Seal of Authenticity as a part of the limited edition of 300 pieces.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

JUAN RAMOS

Born in Puerto Rico (Right at the heart of the Caribbean), Juan brings to the table a passion for boldness, brightness, and colour that perfectly exemplifies his African, Native Indian, and Spaniard roots. His work is synonymous of contrast and, through each print, he aims to tell a story.

His fascination for art began as soon as he was able to smudge colours together. As his mother tells him: “Juan, at the age of 3, one rainy morning you picked up a pencil and you never put it down again”. His obsession with design steered him to study at Puerto Rico’s Visual Arts High School and later on to finish his Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design.

Since then Juan has had the honour to work and create art pieces for some of today’s biggest companies such as Disney, Marvel, Amazon Prime, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, Lucasfilm, etc. He is currently working on expanding the mediums and channels through which he tells his visual stories.
