After is the third studio album by former Emperor frontman Ihsahn, marking the final chapter of his planned trilogy. The album explores themes of conflict, resolution, and introspection, departing from the intense sound off his previous releases in favour of a more mellow, atmospheric approach. Combining black metal, progressive metal, and post-black metal elements, Ihsahn incorporates eight-string guitars and even a saxophone played by Jørgen Munkeby of Enslaved. Tracks like "The Barren Lands" and "Frozen Lakes on Mars" exemplify his ability to blend harsh and melodic elements.
Pressed on a double coloured vinyl set, featuring pink vinyl and white/black swirl vinyl, After comes in gatefold packaging and delivers a unique listening experience that pushes the boundaries of metal.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
