Grateful Dead were an American rock band, known for its unique style incorporating elements of rock, folk, country, jazz, bluegrass, blues, gospel, and psychedelic rock. Their live performances included lengthy instrumental jams, and they're often considered pioneers of the world of jam bands.

Recorded live at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, New Haven, CT on the 5th of May 1977 as part of their Get Shown the Light live album, this epic concert is a must for Deadheads everywhere.

This limited edition 4 x LP box set, was mastered from the original analog tapes, from 1977 and features “Sugaree,” “Scarlet > Fire,” “St. Stephen > Sugar Magnolia,” “Estimated Prophet,” and what is widely considered one of the best performances of “Peggy-O.”
