Dune (1984) - Original Soundtrack Recording By Brian Eno & Toto LP Vinyl Record
Released in 1984, David Lynch’s sci-fi epic “Dune” is based on the 1965 Frank Herbert novel of the same name. “Dune” saw Kyle MacLachlan's (“Blue Velvet” & “Twin Peaks”) cinematic debut, as the film’s protagonist Paul Atreides. In the years following its release, “Dune” has developed a large cult following and is considered a staple film in sci-fi.
One of the most noteworthy aspects of “Dune” is, without a doubt, its soundtrack. Alongside snippets of dialogue from the film, the soundtrack was scored by Toto and features contributions from Brian Eno. The Original Soundtrack Recording for “Dune” features a large variety of sounds and moods, it’s iconically inclusive of everything from strings to brass, synths, tribal percussion, and large bass lines. To this day, the “Dune" soundtrack stands as possibly one of the most unique and finest of the 80s.
Pressed on Classic Black Vinyl. All tracks by Toto unless otherwise stated.
