Released in 1938, Action Comics #1 has since become one of the most iconic comic books of all time. In 2010, the comic book became the first to sell at auction for US$1 Million, with a copy from the original print run selling for over US$3 Million in 2014.

At 11" in height, the piece features Superman himself launching from the comic's scenery, holding the front of a car up with his incredible superhuman strength. While the comic maintains a vibrant colour scheme, Superman has been tastefully cast in pewter, the perfect material for capturing his heroic form in a dynamic pose.
The car that Superman holds up has been crafted from bonded percelain, and can have its crumpled bodywork removed to reveal a meticulously modeled chassis and engine. The base has been sculpted with the iconic Superman logo, a fitting design for our favourite superhero to hover above.
Illustrated by Alan Quah and sculpted by Mufizal Mokhtar. Malaysians Quah and Mokhtar are both highly respected by the international comics and collectables communities, and have come together to collaborate on this limited edition piece.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
