Mary Marvel, also known as Lady Shazam, draws her lightning power from the same source that powers the superhero Shazam. The long-lost twin sister of Billy Batson (also known as the heroic Shazam), she ended up being taken care of by the wealthy Bromfield family. Years later she met Billy at a radio contest, and not long after she discovered that she too could transform into a superhero merely by muttering the magic words.
Based on a stylized rendering by Bishoujo illustrator Shunya Yamashita, Kotobukiya have brought us this stunning statue of the mighty Lady Shazam standing at approximately 215mm. Depicting her child-like attitude with the appearance of an adult, she stands on her golden base in an energetic pose, fully geared in her vibrant red outfit with her cape and hair billowing in the wind behind her. The word Shazam! pops up underneath her feet, surrounded by striking effects pieces, reminiscent of an action-packed freeze frame from an original DC Comic. Made with a premium level of detail, everything from the shine of the metallic gold paint to her emotive facial expression jumps out at the viewer in all it's aesthetic glory.
