Day of the Dead (1985) - "The Dead Walk!" Newspaper 1:1 Scale Life-Scale Prop Replica
Prominently featured in the opening credits of Day of the Dead, our "The Dead Walk" newspapers were recreated using scans sourced from surviving copies of the original props. The sharp-eyed reader will notice, while the headlines were specifically created for the scene, the actual text of the newspaper is sourced from medical journals of the time!
Identical to the original, many paragraphs are cut off, shortened and sometimes misaligned. As with most props of the time, no thought was given to collectors being able to actually examine these props up-close, much less wanting to add them to our collections! The back of the paper is also purposely left blank. We have kept these hallmarks in our copy to present the most authentic replica of this iconic prop to date!

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
