Cassadaga is the seventh studio album by American indie rock band Bright Eyes, originally released in April 2007.Bright Eyes is an American indie rock band founded by singer songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. The band consists of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating lineup of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene.
The album is named after the town of Cassadaga, Florida, a community of mediums and followers of spiritualism. Z Berg of The Like, Sherri DuPree and Stacy King of Eisley as well as solo artist Rachael Yamagata all make appearances on this album. Adopting an indie rock sound within the hour long run-time, listeners will not be disappointed when adding this incredible album to their record collection.
