Twoism is the first EP released by Scottish electronic music duo, Boards of Canada, on their own Music70 record label in 1995.
Twoism, presents us with a Boards of Canada that is youthful and naïve, yet to fulfil the grandiose uniqueness of its musical vision and, perhaps, as yet unaware even of quite what that musical vision is. Nevertheless it’s a charming record. Eight tracks (nine, if you include the unlisted bonus at the end of ‘Smokes Quantity’) of pleasantly bubbling ambient techno, free of the weight of creative necessity and of the darkness that would slowly creep into their work over time.
Often considered the Holy Grail of IDM (and not too long ago trading for a cool thousand dollars on eBay), ownership of one of the original 100 pressed-wax Twoism EPs guaranteed entrance into the upper echelon of electronica. And now, Warp Records have brought it back for old and new fans alike.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
