Originally released in 2022, this 14-track album was supported by five hit singles: Second Sermon (Remix), Soja, 45, Konongo Zongo, and the smash hit Kwaku The Traveller, which debuted at number 2 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart.
Since its release, The Villain I Never Was has propelled Black Sherif to international acclaim, earning him prestigious awards such as Artist of the Year (Ghana Music Awards UK 2022), West African Artist of the Year (The Headies 2023), and Best International Flow (BET Hip-Hop Awards 2023).

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
