In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, King Ch'ah Toh Almehen, a powerful Talokanil mutant who rules the underwater kingdom of Talokan, rises against the Wakandans when his proposal for a military alliance against the United States is resisted. As two nations toil to protect their people, a new Black Panther rises in the wake of T'Challa's death.
This design takes on Namor's appearance, most spectacularly with the ceremonial helmet he wears when he addresses his kingdom. The headdress, which represents a feathered serpent, comes to life in layered applique. Gold foil detail can be found within its intricancies as well as jewelled eye pieces, while printed feather details spread out from the bag. A blue shimmery effect, which beautifully catches sunlight, is reminiscent of Namor's underweater home. His feathered ankle wings are represented in applique on the side pockets and on the back of the bag, the words "Imperius Rex" can be found alongside a stunningly detailed portrait of Namor.
