Batman - Gotham Girls Fine Art Print Set by Emma ‘Anarkitty’ Geary (Set of 3)

The bad girls of Gotham are ready for a night on the town in the new Gotham Girls fine art print set by artist Emma ‘Anarkitty’ Geary.

Produced by Sideshow Collectibles and officially licensed by DC Comics, this giclée print set features three 11” (27.94cm) x 17” (43.18cm) colourful portraits of infamous femme fatales Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn in Anarkitty’s signature pop-surrealist style. The skyline backgrounds feature details that make each woman’s beige of the city unique, with the bat-signal shining in the sky behind Selina Kyle, deranged ‘HA HA HA’ laughter sprawled across the buildings behind Harleen Quinzel, and vines wrapping up skyscrapers behind Pamela Isley.

About the Artist:

Emma Geary, aka Anarkitty, is a Northern Irish New Contemporary & Pop Surrealism Artist hailing from a small village just outside Belfast. After graduating from The University of Ulster with a Ba Hons degree in Art and Design, Emma moved to London for a six years to work as a web and graphic designer. Her work has appeared in publications such as Creative Review, Computer Arts, DPI (Taiwan) magazine. She also contributed works for clients such as MTV, BBC and Pictoplasma.

As she soaked up the art scene in London, she began to draw inspiration from pin-up art, illustration, manga and anime, tattoo and graffiti culture. A prevalent theme in Emma's work stems from her fascination with cats, thus her signature moniker 'Anarkitty' was born. Inspired by the idiosyncratic ways of felines, her characters possess an arcane attitude encased in a provocative and curious beauty. Like cats, they are comfortable within their own bodies, and depicted with a sense of confidence, freedom and ease.

Returning to Northern Ireland Emma started to move her characters onto canvas and got her first solo exhibition in The Frameworks Gallery Belfast. Her artworks now appear in gallery exhibitions and shows internationally, from New York, San-Francisco and Los Angeles to Australia and Germany.
